How buying a pool from us works.
Plain words, no fine print. These terms apply to every shell and equipment package Hull Pools supplies. Installation, where we offer it in NSW and Queensland, is quoted and agreed separately in writing.
The price
Your quote is one delivered number: the shell in your model, size and colour, the standard equipment package, the engineering pack and the compliance certificate for your state, and freight to your site. It includes GST. It is valid for 30 days. Anything not listed in the quote is not included, and site works, crane hire, fencing and council fees are yours to arrange unless your quote says otherwise.
Deposit and balance
A deposit of 30 percent secures your pool, books your slot at the factory and covers the order of your equipment. The balance is due in full, in cleared funds, five business days before delivery. We do not dispatch a pool that is not paid for, and we do not take payment for anything we have not quoted.
Delivery
We confirm a delivery date with you at least two weeks ahead. You are responsible for clear access for the truck and crane on the day, and for someone being on site to accept the pool. If access on the day is not what was agreed, redelivery and crane costs are passed on at cost. Risk in the pool passes to you when it comes off the truck.
Ownership
The pool and equipment stay the property of Hull Pools until paid for in full.
Changes and cancellation
Model, size or colour can be changed up until the factory starts your shell, at no charge. After that, a change is a new order. If you cancel before the factory starts, your deposit is refunded less any costs we have already incurred on your order. Once the shell is in production it is made for you and the deposit is not refundable.
Warranty
The shell carries the manufacturer's 25 year structural warranty and the equipment carries each maker's warranty. We pass both to you in full and we help you with any claim. Warranties do not cover damage from an install that ignores the engineering pack, from chemical imbalance, or from ground movement outside the engineering assumptions. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Approvals
We supply the engineering drawings and the compliance certificate your state needs. Council or certifier approval, barrier compliance and the final inspection are yours to obtain, unless we are installing and have agreed otherwise in writing.
