What happens after you say yes
A pool is a big cheque to write to a business you found last week. So here is the whole process, week by week, with who does what at every step. Nothing on this page is a surprise later.

The timeline
The factory sets the lead time. Heading into summer it is about eight weeks from deposit to shell on site, and in the off season it comes down to around six. We tell you the factory's current number before you pay a deposit, so the date on this timeline is a real one.
- Day 0
You say yes
You pick the model, size and colour from the quote pack. A 30 percent deposit secures your pool and books your slot at the factory. You get a receipt and this timeline with your dates filled in.
- Week 1
Engineering pack and certificate
We issue the engineered drawings, the standard installation details and the compliance certificate your state needs: Certificate of Compliance in NSW, Form 15 in QLD, Reg 126 in VIC. This is what your certifier or council asks for.
- Weeks 1 to 3
Approval
You or your certifier lodge the pool approval, a complying development certificate for most backyards or a development application where the block needs one. We answer every question the certifier sends, the same day.
- Weeks 2 to 6
The factory builds your shell
Your pool is moulded to order in Australia in your colour. We check in with the factory each week and tell you the moment a date moves.
- Two weeks out
Delivery date confirmed
We confirm the day and talk through access: where the truck stands, where the crane sits, what needs to be clear. The balance is due in cleared funds five business days before delivery.
- Delivery day
Shell and equipment on site
The truck arrives, the crane lifts the shell into the hole, and the equipment package comes off with it. If our crew is installing, this is the day the pool is set and levelled. If you are installing, your team takes it from here with the engineering pack in hand and us on the phone.
- The week after
Plumb, backfill, fence, fill
Pipework to the equipment pad, backwash line to the gully, backfill in lifts as the water goes in, barrier up, sparky connects the pad. Your certifier does the final inspection and the pool is registered.
- Swim day
Water balanced, gear running
The handover kit has the test kit, starter chemicals, brush, rake and hose. We walk you through the chlorinator and the filter, and ring you a month later to make sure it is all behaving.
